The main attractions of this park, unique in the world, are the 16 small lakes joined by waterfalls created by the sedimentation of travertine, a special type of limestone. By a network of paths, visitors can get around and access the numerous waterfalls and the rocky lake shores easily. After the visit proceed to Split.

In his luxury palace, he spent the last few years of his life. Being located in the narrow center of Split, the palace is a must-see attraction for every visitor. It contains a lot of originally preserved ancient sites that include streets, squares, and churches. It was called a palace, but it was more like a big fortress surrounded by walls and towers. Ston is mainly known for three things – it’s very well-preserved town walls, its salt works, and its mussels. The salt works were established as far back as the 13th century. These days, the harvesting of salt from the sea is still done in a traditional manner.
